While Newport's iconic parade may be tentatively postponed until September, as reported by What's Up Newp, we can still celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a traditional Irish feast from these restaurants. Here are a few Irish-themed restaurants and pubs in Rhode Island where you can celebrate St. Patrick's Day with Irish dishes like corned beef and cabbage, Reuben sandwiches, fish and chips and other classics. There are also a few clever twists on well-known Irish dishes. And don't forget the Guinness!

McBride's Irish Pub

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day early. Swing by Wayland Square for a block party and Covid-safe, socially distant celebration on March 13 filled with live Irish music in the afternoon and activities for kids in the morning like the shamrock hunt. Order the Irish nachos to start, a tasty dish featuring housemade chips topped with shepherd's pie lamb filling, cheddar cheese, sour cream and spring onion. Fish and chips, corned beef and cabbage and chicken pot pie are all on the menu as well. All of Wayland Square will be closed to traffic and all restaurants will have ample outdoor seating.
